the Murder of Paul Schmidt (the Starbucks stabbing) and the piece of s#&t that filmed it

If you follow Canadian news, you've likely heard about the horrific murder that recently occurred on the patio of a Starbucks in downtown Vancouver.

37 year old father Paul Schmidt was stabbed to death in an altercation that began with him asking a man to not use an electronic cigarette so close to his 3 year old daughter.

If being brutally murdered in front of your child and in broad daylight wasn't enough, Paul's horrific last moments were celebrated by a bystander who captured the violence on video and shared his footage online.

In this episode Madelayne Klein and I discuss the murder of Paul Schmidt and the piece of s&%t that filmed it.

On a cold night in January of 1969, 19 year old Fred McCallum entered the Pederson family home as they slept. By the time he leaves he is covered in blood, carrying a large axe, and unsure of exactly what he did to the Pederson family.
